History

Thomas Conveyor Company was founded on April 1, 1953, by W. Paul Thomas. Jacob G. Thomas, Sr., and J. G. Thomas, Jr., joined by W. Paul Thomas of Thomas Conveyor in 1955.

The entire plant measured only 200 square feet and was housed in a lean-to shack. Within just a year, as demand for Thomas high quality products and services grew, the company expanded to 10,000 square feet at its present site, in Burleson, Texas.  In 1965, it reached 160,000 square feet, and in 1968 enlarged to 200,000 square feet.
